Sniper Elite Nintendo Wii review

There were many similar themes of shooters and online shooting games and the elite sniper is a welcome addition to the games of the second world war. Other WWII games, you play an elite American sniper dressed as a soldier, who was sent in the dangerous conflict blooming between Russians and Germans.

You need to do is defeat Stalin in nuclear research, which will be used by the Germany to produce an atomic bomb. This game is regarded as one of the more realistic shooting games to date, because it takes advantage of the system of precise control of the Nintendo Wii, where each gesture, attack and movement, are perfectly timed.

The game involves training in techniques of sniper elite is specialized and selections in details of weapons. It can be played alone or in couples where the challenges vary in third person, binoculars or sniper modes. It is composed of 28 completed action missions and you can choose among 4 settings of difficulty whether Rookie, Cadet, snipers and Sniper Elite.

Sniper elite Wii takes another method in the rush struggling fighting along the beaches and the fight against the Nazis. Being a sniper who is a professional sniper is simply out of the area devastated by the war with the bad color of uniform, but someone requiring a more qualified position.

This game requires to have great patience, because you are a sniper and not only an ordinary Warrior. If you are a dedicated in this war game shooters, you gain much satisfaction from this long and difficult campaign.

Sniper Elite WWII game happened in the end of the war in the year 1945, focusing on the conflict between the Russia and the Germany to fight for power on Berlin. The NKVD, which is the secret service of the Russia, is currently in the city to the technology of the atomic bomb from the hands of the German army.

Your mission is to put an end to this, because once that the technology of nuclear weapons is taken by the forces of Stalin, which means danger to the world. Because you are a sniper formed the American OSS, you should be the best to stop the operation of the NKVD at all costs while posing as a German soldier.

The single player campaign is long, because should be 28 missions in a variety of different although very similar to war contexts. Missions include killing Government officials, carrying secret documents, free Allied prisoners and kill the bad guys.

This will take approximately 12 hours or more to complete, and after completing all the optional objectives by taking the time to put in place all your shots instead of filming unwisely, the game will be easily take as much time.

When it is played with care, a single level may take more than an hour to complete. Stealth actions are well performed and the game made an excellent job of building the sense of the tension of the snooping around and gathering on the land of the enemy. Tension will blend in with the monotony that wish you that you could move as soon as possible.

Video game Pilotwings Resort

Pilotwings Resort is an innovative video game for the Nintendo 3DS system. It is a flight simulation game single person who is a member of the franchise from Nintendo Pilotwings and has incredible 3D experience without need for 3D glasses.

People know the Pilotwings 64 will appreciate the return to the game, and completely new players will also be fascinated by the experience. Despite the fact that he seems to be a very simple concept, the game is quiet and interesting and surprisingly addictive.

Generate or import your individual avatar or ITNs and fly high in the sky while finishing challenges and other activities focused on the fun. That you move forward through the game, your Mii acquires and unlocks additional skills and equipment, and you can collect several hundred articles in free flight Mode. You will be able to fly around just and landscapes, or you could try to time or point of service missions.

Choose between three methods of flight, a hang glider, a plan or a rocket belt. Each of these has its own unique controls and quirks as you fly above and investigation on Wuhu island. You travel around, take postcard of beautiful or intriguing places snap shots and send them to friends and family.

Pros

As described by a player, the graphics are fantastic, the sound is good and the quests stimulating and interesting. Similarly, they said that this game has definitely demonstrates the capabilities of 3D Nintendo 3DS with remarkable results. The sense of depth and height is supposed to be great just a portable system.

Simple, simple and easy gameplay and master controls have been a real benefit as described by the majority of players.

Some people said that the missions were fairly simple do fairly quickly, but that they have obtained replay value when you try to complete all the missions with 3 stars. They said that this could actually be very addictive!

Cons.

This and other video games 3D for long periods of time could make you feel dizzy and may even cause-eyestrain, as a player, and to recommend the frequent breaks to counter this. In addition, it is a little difficult to flick your eyes between the 3D from the top screen and the map on the bottom screen.

Someone said that they had completed essentially all of the missions of 2 hours, and that he could be more of them for the cost of the game.

Several authors found that the sound and music are very repetitive after a while.

Sit in the seat of the driver for an incredible 3D with Pilotwings Resort adventure. Take a trip over Wuhu island and simply absorb the views or complete missions and challenges. All that you choose to take advantage of soaring through the sky with your rocket belt, hang gliding, or plan.

The experience of a freshly baked steak and burning rubber can be nothing short of breathtaking. And all that can now be experienced from the comfort your own home with NASCAR 2011 the game. But is this Eutechnyx developed game worth playing?

Modes

The first thing players will notice is the menu. This is honestly one of the best menus ever made. The garage in the background and track access cards while loading put me right into the NASCAR experience. An experience gained from many modes including career, quick race and online play. Now normally I'd say that career mode is where the mileage is at but this time I just can't.

Career mode let's you play as yourself or one of the 43 famous NASCAR sprint series drivers. As you race you gain experience, which can be put in new sponsorships or unlocks additional content, usually an invitational event or a color scheme. The sponsorship is a nice touch. After a couple of decent finishes you'll gain interest from famous sponsors. Put their logo on the car will unlock additional bonuses for predetermined criteria, like leading a race for 10 laps. And while the sponsorship is a great idea it only goes so far because career mode only supports one season, all hard earned respect goes lost after the 36st race, not great.

Racing

Luckily the cream of the crop is determined on track and in that respect NASCAR 2011 the game does very well. Racing with 43 other cars fighting for every inch of the racetrack is an experience unlike any.

During the race the game does a stellar job keeping you posted of the world around you. At the bottom of the screen the HUD gives a clear overview of the surrounding cars. And the tire and fuel indicators are essential for making it to the end of the race. Trust me I've had races where the tires would suddenly fall off a cliff, leading to the inevitable puncture.

This is both a good and a bad thing, because while it adds a nice strategic element to it, the execution lacks subtle cues. Tires tend to drop off quite harshly and any car damage is always brutal. I've experienced a race where the car would pull to the left leaving me counter steering through the entire thing - really exhausting!

Also tactical is the positioning of the front end. These cars drive quite heavily so the entry to a corner makes all the difference between ending in a giant swabble or reaching the finish line scot-free.

When you do make errors or decide go the long route, there's always the possibility to pit. In the pits a small screen pops up giving options for refueling, or changing tires. The only downside to this is that it yanks the player straight out of the immersion and switches to a fly cam until the car returns to the track.

The same can be said about cautions. These flags, which indicate a safety car situation, add a big lottery to any race. In the game they don't come out too often (luckily?) but they do get the job done, although it would've been nice to stay in-car throughout the whole thing.

Reasons they don't come out too often probably have something to do with the AI. They tend to drive very cleanly and don't get tangled in each other's tracks too often. When they approach an obstacle (probably you) they do a solid job in trying to avoid it, despite failing when in larger packs. Don't expect anything like the real thing though. The two-car bullet phenomenon, where one is the pusher, is definitely something you won't see in the game. The same can be said about strategic slipstreaming in packs or slingshots. But for the largest part the AI is satisfying.

Ultimately these elements do compliment the tactical sport that is NASCAR, and overall they've been implemented very nicely and do deliver close racing as is notorious for the sport, well done Eutechnyx!

Driving

So how do these cars drive? To find out I connected a G27 to the PS3 version of the game, and grinded my teeth in. To be honest I was a little anxious at first. Seeing a big oval banking coming up and knowing that the wheel is connected to 3500lbs of aluminum doesn't fair well with me. And after many laps of bravery and content, I can say that it definitely does what it says on the tin.

These V8 muscles are heavy and it feels that way. Changing direction is tough, punishing any rookie entry to the corner. Contrary to what you may think the smaller ovals are what really get to you.

Also important for any tight oval is skillful braking. The balance between high pedal pressure and soft is as big as light and day. Aggressive drivers will definitely find the car dancing under the pressure, leaving you pray to the upcoming attackers.

As I mentioned before damage adds to the excitement of racing. Any contact with the wall and you might find the car pulling to either side. Harder contact will hurt the transmission. The damage is both visually and mechanically pleasing, despite never willing to break the car completely. Even the hardest of impacts will not result in an automatic forfeit of the race, the only dent in the system.

To prevent damages you might want to tweak the car setup a little. Players can choose between a standard setup (auto tuned for the particular race) or become engineers themselves. Aspiring engineers can start out easy using a few sliders to change the downforce, tires and gearbox among other things. I think that most will really appreciate this simplified method of making setups. Go all out though and the game throws any possible tweak into the mix. I can't confirm this but I can imagine it being on par with real world NASCAR! And the best part is that all these efforts do pay off during the race, both in car-wear and stability.

I can't deny that I'm a fan of Eutechnyx when it comes to gameplay and again they don't disappoint. With every aids off it's maybe a bit shy of being a complete sim, but it's challenging and the setup work is perfect. Likewise easy mode does a great job in offering a pick up and play experience to anyone new to the sport.

Online

With the handling aced most will probably picture fantastic online battles, fighting till dusk and pushing the tires to their absolute limit, well don't. Online racing often falls short of the picture we have in our heads, because close racing can only be done with mutual respect. Unfortunately, and I can't blame the devs for this, the oval circuit lends itself perfectly for bump races and ghost riders. I can say that out of all the races I've been on, I finished not a single one with a feeling of satisfaction and content.

On the bright side I haven't experienced much failures in the online system myself, although I've heard complaints from other users. So when you do know a couple of fair buds that are up for a race, go for it! But for most racers, unfortunately, lack of skill/intention worldwide will mark this mode useless.

Presentation

NASCAR the game 2011 is out for the Wii (May 24th), PS3 and the xbox360. The last two versions are identical to each other and is the version that we used for this review.

The current gen is running on its final legs and it shows. The graphics while pushing 43 cars fall short of the best we've seen in the genre. The trackside objects look very flat and do a poor job in conveying the belief that you're part of a bigger world. On the flip side the cars look great and it can be really entertaining at times to read a cars backend infomercial.

Also surprisingly good are the pre-race shows. These include hawks flying into the air and fireworks as the cars pass the pit straight, things you'd expect in real NASCAR racing. But again unfortunately the in-car experience doesn't live up to the immersion.

This isn't particularly helped by the sound. No matter the view you're in the engine always sounds the same. It lacks a rough edge and is too clean overall. Less clean is the sound of the spotter. This director up in the sky helps the driver pick the best lines and keeps him up to date of the swabbles ahead. In the game however he feels the need to repeat, confuse and annoy, within spectacular short timeframes. He especially feels the need to repeat "all clear" when driving on an island for numerous laps. I do feel that further tweaking and a few extra lines would greatly help the spotter implementation.

Conclusions

NASCAR 2011 the game is the first of the series and is shows. On top of that the graphics suffer from having to run 43 cars at all times. Still the racing itself is great and does offer a lot of joy, even when you're not familiar with the sport. The proper implementation of damage, tire wear and fuel compliments this feature.

The biggest problem, in my eyes, is the fact that you may find it unrewarding to race. Online is a hit or miss and the career mode isn't up to speed just yet. And because of that your mileage may vary to the largest extend, making this title a recommend only to the biggest of NASCAR fans or the purest of racers.

MotorStorm Game Review

MotorStorm series is well known for providing loads of challenge and threatening the well-being of DualShock 3 in the world. Since its 2007 arc, legions of players have experienced the thrill of close victories and the agony to be diverted in a wall and the final qualifying position. After a suite of audio PS3 and a spin-off pocket computer, the series returns to the PS3 with MotorStorm: revelation, a title which carries on the tradition of his predecessors, although with new bells and whistles.

Since Pacific Rift of 2008, we saw two riders hugely focused on action and film in the blur and fraction of a second. Their influence is pronounced in the Apocalypse. The scenario casts you to city massive false-San Francisco in the middle of a major disaster. Urban agitation is a fine diversion to the "Burning Man-as-race" and "tropical paradise-as-race" reasons for the first two games PS3 and allows more tension and peril.

MotorStorm games follow a few simple rules: they are ruthless and relentless and promote the wise use of the bursts of speed and aggressiveness to bypass your opponents. In addition, open tracks to ensure that environmental features are also dangerous as competing big platforms. Signature series hook is probably the engine management. As you stimulate your risk of engine overheating, you are always aware of the shunt of rival driver to pass.

Although revelation touts its history and rapidly collapsing environments as its biggest new additions, a new tweak of engine management transforms the series significantly. Pacific Rift introduces cooling, allowing you to drive in the puddles of water and temporarily slow down or remove any heat engine. Apocalypse introduced an airborne cooling. Essentially, when you touch of ramps and antenna big snags, leaving two offshore stimulate and accelerate will cool your engine in the air, which gives you a significant advantage in maintaining your speed when you land. Make no mistake, this is a real game changer. I have tried to return to Pacific Rift to refresh my memory after several hours on the Apocalypse and found almost unplayable without airborne cooling functionality.

The game effectively adapts the standard XP system now in the race online. You win Paris chips in all the races that you participate in, and you can use these chips to bet on your chances of beating the other runners and unlock different perks, such as increased grip strength, engine recharge more quick or faster respawns. It can also be used for the purchase of vehicle upgrades, a slickly feature implemented which will ensure that people continue to participate, even if I want that it allow you to also save XP campaign or time trials. Between its multiplayer, finely calibrated boosting slick tweaks and a history of solo which gradually reached difficulty of trademark of the series, MotorStorm: revelation strengthens the concepts of the series is known for. It takes elements of rights of other racing games while those who emerge from refining. Despite some charges, moments occasional campaign hokey and sporadic frustrations in busy environments, it is a fine suite which is worth to be played.

Dragon Age 2 - a superb RPG

BioWare a developer of video games more respectable in the world seems to be that they are on steroids. They produce a masterpiece after another. This article will talk about the games Dragon Age series. BioWare began with Dragon Age origins RPG series. And then they have released an expansion called DAO - awakening. And now, they have released Dragon Age 2. Origins was such large a RPG. Alarm clock divided players, some much, like certain step so and others hated. Dragon Age 2 just to stir the pot really well with many improvements.

Dragon Age 2 is an incredible role playing the game and many developers and gamers view point of reference in the RPG industry. Unfortunately not all players have the same opinion. There are players who need, ask and demand for more information. They are not easily convinced. These individuals have played many video games and have developed a solid base of experience. They know what they want and they need and what is important in a game for the title of "wow". I am one of them. If I'm going to pay for something, I want it make me scream with enthusiasm. DAO 2 has done this? Not really not, but the game is beautiful and totally worth the money and your time.

Especially across the United States and Europe, many video games magazines gave very positive reviews, but he has not obtained the results of the origins. Some give titles and awards such as: Editor's choice award, best RPG of the Decade, most large game and things like experience. Others said that they had many nights playing this game and they feel no regret in this regard.

On the other hand, there are many magazines and reviewers who were not happier than people in the above paragraph. Some said that the area of setting was much too small, there is no discernable characters, the combat system has been simplified too much and they have created to attract more new players in Dragon Age without complying with the hardcore old players, or at least do something to connect these two parts more smoothly. Others said that, with all the improved Polish bases still need some work. My opinion on this subject is that many old timers is really disappointed with the simplified system, I am not happy with it either.

In conclusion, the game is worth playing? The game is really good? Is Dragon Age 2 a great RPG? It is not the right questions at least for me. Because Dragon Age 2 is a superb role play. If you are a new player you will be more than satisfied. The right question is: is Dragon Age 2 represents this expectation that all the fan of the series? Well, it is a question raised by you.

Although there is always something happening on the screen, either a battle raging, hunting, some life threatening foreigners, or just a scene of fighting wild, explosive with vehicles of the war and a number of other thingsthe screen manages to remain free to appear crowded and you will appreciate the visuals with a measure of balance and peace, whereas it is based on violence and war.

In addition, there is a sense of danger that accompanies the game, as the characters really are very lethal and dangerous and can only be defeated with great care and sometimes only with a joint attack. For an adventurous game of fighting and adventure, this game packs a punch and draws on two counts.

Xbox 360 Kinect Sports Review

Nintendo's Wii may have been the first to make sports and motion controls well, but sports Kinect took this Foundation and expanded considerably. "nintendo wii Sports" was a single hard, while Kinect Sports is a double in the gap.

Sports Kinect extends the amount of sports and the functionality by allowing players to use their legs instead of swinging just their arms wildly. Anyone who played the Wii Sports Games knows that motion sensor can sometimes be fickle and others downright frustrating. The Kinect does a wonderful job of tracking and integrates the movement of the player for most of the sports and games are included.

Graphics are understated and very easy on the eyes, the interface is very simple to use and understand. The game is clearly oriented fun with family, or for groups of friends to pick up and play. Customization is nothing ground breaking, although you can build your statistics of avatars and acquire awards and trophies.

Kinect sport includes: boxing, track, volleyball, football, bowling and table tennis (known as table tennis fans enraged openly the "sport").

Boxing is very fun and was probably the real digital life more transparent transition. My abs and neck were never wrong so cruelly video games. There were a few hiccups followed while trying to stay in the virtual space, but most of the problems were with me my shin on my coffee table banging.

Volleyball was the second best part of the game. If your drive is automatically moved into the sand for you, you still have a good amount of control. Timing and fortifications are very satisfactory.

Table tennis has been exciting and punish even more on my painful abs. Animations are really fun to watch in this game. Beware of the multiplayer, with several flailing arms can be very dangerous.

Bowling, I must say, was a fairly large disappointment. The mode appears not very deep. It is logical that you should run to television, but something just felt a bit dry in this regard. I do not know how the Kinect follows your English and draw etc and it seems that this was not very well thought. I don't like how you can just choose your ball, place your feet and launch the ball however.

Athletics brings back me to the time of the old version of Nintendo game. This game has really gets the blood flowing while you run place and jump over hedges, etc. I was expecting much pleasure from it, but once my body gets used to spend so much, I really see with this game much.

Soccer is the biggest loser of the modes. You are mostly stationary, while most of the work is done. Standing in place and kicked and passage are not idea of most of the people of pleasure.

I did not expect much outside of a few minutes of pleasure with Kinect sports, but really came away impressed. After breakup of motion and marketing the Kinect corny, (I think that this was the common consensus of the players more) I can be forgiven for not having high expectations.

This game is deeper and more satisfying than expected, the good variety and is thankfully free of many problems with Wii games and all the avatars have weapons. I give him four arms straighten four. Kinect sport are you interested?

Football Manager 2011 iPhone review

The King of management games hit the iPhone in the form of a tent 2011 $9.99 app Football Manager, to provide a rich experience of football managers on the go, but this attempt worthy of mention?

Football manager 2011 supports 11 competitions and 34 divisions, which should meet most of the players. All big leagues include the Barclay, Serie A and the Primera division championship. It is finally possible to relive the intensity of a Barca - Madrid game anywhere you go.

Opportunities

Unlike its PC counterpart, the version of the iPhone is accessible to players of all levels with a simple layout. The style of buttons and drop-down big makes it easy to find all possible options without scratching heads or research of the interwebs increasingly broader guides. It is however also a con because 2011 Football Coach for the mobile market is in no way comparable to the real thing.

This becomes particularly evident in the decisions-pitch for the club management. For example, Scouts can not be purchased and cannot send to Rideau regions, away from the PC version. And financial control is even more race to the bottom, here there is no way to improve the trunk of the club or even read in numbers, instead, the game offers a simple budget and suggests that. On the flip side, unusual events that the game takes into account, in my game a rich owner resumed, granting more than 60 m from transfer fees, an overview of the depth.

To end this part on a positive node, with methods of access easy (although nudes basics), football coach works at the speed of the Flash on an iPhone 3GS or 4. This was very encouraging and dependence to continue, despite the lack of features. I finished 4 seasons with my local club in as a week - a feat never succeeded with the PC version before.

Tactics

Fortunately, the team tactics go deep enough despite the lack of firepower out iDevices now. Players can quickly move between the intentions, passing styles, pressure or not etc. Still more digging deep and a multitude of endless training is available in the comfort of the fingertips, pretty good stuff for a mobile footie!

The matches are shown on the map of trademark of the series with points system used for many years earlier in the Decade. Each point represents a player and the movement and passes are displayed realistic for most of the time - times silly definitively arose time to time. More of a downer, is the fact that the game will only display highlights, race to the low any remaining hopes for a deeper more profound football experience.

Conclusions

Football manager 2011 for iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad is a great pilot for the series. This is simply great to take advantage of FM experience on a mobile device. Gameplay moves quickly and some features provide an overview of the feature-rich big brother provided to managers of PC a few years already. With this Football Manager for the iPhone is a purchase recommended for light Manager experience when on the go.

Seriously silent: House of blocking Game Review

A dream scary on your sister and a disturbing phone call from her husband, stimulates you in action in severely silent: home of the impasse. Investigate a mysterious Castle and try to find a way to pick your sister to the door of death. Learn more about the similar fates other unfortunate women and a way to avoid this from happening again. Use your hidden object and puzzle solving skills to unlock the mysteries of the castle of Rainheart!

Seriously silent: block House is another set of objects hidden by Vogat, the spirit adventure behind best-selling hidden object games such as the shadows of death and the elixir of immortality. Just as these great games, seriously Silent includes medieval and supernatural themes, themes that people in Vogat excellent to create and to weave a compelling story.

First of all, a warning. Do you like spiders? Most large organizations furry and legs? What bats with dripping fangs and beady eyes? Moths, perhaps? OH, and we hope you as mice and rats too. The game is full of these creepy crawlies, which some fill half of the screen. Things get also more interesting when you have to explore the rooms dark with nothing in your way save for a small flashlight. So if you want to be creeped of your skin by these creatures of the night, this game will be up your alley.

The story begins when you are awakened by a strange nightmare of your sleep. In it, your sister calls for you to save a terrible death. When you receive a call from her husband, dashing Lord Richard Rainheart, telling you that your sister was dead things become even more monstrous. You decide to go to the bottom of this and go to the Castle Rainheart. Once there, you discover that your sister was in fact the fifth Mrs. Rainheart, and the previous four were killed in mysterious circumstances. Your further investigations take you to a murder and mystery in the realm of the supernatural (and creepy crawlies).

Seriously Silent is a dark gothic adventure game where you explore the Castle and its surroundings. During your adventure, you will also explore the dreams and the past lives of the Rainhearts of Ms. various that try to guess what happened to your sister. It is a standard hidden object adventure game where you will encounter various obstacles and puzzles that must be resolved. Exploring the Castle gives you the elements and tools that you can use to overcome these obstacles.

Most of these obstacles can be resolved by simply find the right item. It is to find a torch with peers in a dark corner of a room or find enough fragments key through a locked door. However, there are other puzzles that are more complicated and must be resolved in a minigame separate screen. There is a standard mini-games such as puzzles and pattern matching puzzles. But there are also quite a few unique puzzles with a Gothic/medieval twist, such as the puzzle where you manipulate alchemical reagents in the correct forms so that they can be used to unlock a passage.

And there are scenes of hidden objects that come standard with this kind of game. Here hidden objects are not too difficult to identify, but there are a few unique twists and turns that make it more interesting. In dark scenes, you are only able to see objects illuminated by your flashlight. And there are a few objects in each scene which must be handled until you can collect. For example, if you are supposed to find "a lit candle", you will be need to find a candle and a lighter, using the lighter to light the candle, and then collect the lit candle resulting.

As you can expect a set of Vogat, works of art in seriously silent is beautiful, but in a creepy way, eeky and Gothic. Candle-lit environments are superbly painted, and you can almost smell the pavement covered with foam that you travel through the Castle. There are also a lot of animation in the game, especially for the purpose of narrative such as cut scenes in the game.

Seriously Silent is a good adventure game, and as you can expect a set of Vogat, it does not disappoint. You'll love if you loved Gothic or medieval adventure games like like the shadows of death: Royal blood or Margrave: Curse of the sectioned heart. The base version of the game is not out yet, but you can get the Special Edition of the PC game includes bonus such as additional gameplay equipment, a guide to strategy and other extras.

Rating: 4.0 and 5.0.

Xbox Live: Trial Indie Game - smoky sky

We go there. I have to play another game of indie Xbox Live just now called sky covering. If you have never heard of sky smouldering thats ok, it left less than a week on Xbox Live indie games market. Developed by Distinction games this old-school top-down features fantasy shooter a dragon as a protagonist with envirements lush and boss battles.

When you start heaven covering your greeted by some options from the main menu. You have "new game", "Continue Game", "Level Select", "Best score", "Orders", "Credits" and "exit Game". The trial allows you to only play a gamemode and thats new game. The controls are fairly simple to understand and their top goal smouldering low sky style gameplay. Left thumbstick is move your main character. B button is to use bombs and right trigger is to fire. You can also change weapons by pressing the A button.

Sky steaming is one of those indie games, in my view that some things on the right and too evil. First, without points of control or shields. Even some old school top-down shooters have shield upgrades. No checkpoints either. If you die, you have to start all the way. It was frustrating after diaphragm and enemy shooting 1 million and in Octopus Rose pattern (which draws black ink to you) to die and start over again all the way. I understand that sky covering wants to be labelled as the old school, but the overall gameplay flow fairly well not to have put in place control points. For some aspects, the game feels kinda cheap in the gameplay Department.

The visuals are quite good. The dragon protagonist does not look good and its animations look pretty robotic. However, the backgrounds seemed wonderful. The level of the sea under the water, I played on the effects of the water of nice features with the work of good texture and bright colours. Enemies varies between starfish and blue and Red orbs. Sound design is not good even by the standards of indie games. The sound effects of fire and enemies thus gets pedantic very quickly.

There are many power-ups covering sky to upgrade your weapons. On the right side of the screen is a bar which shows your game data. This latter shows your overall score (I have 57,074). It also shows the levels of your bombs and other levels of data weapon. Its good to have this side bar still showing while you play so you can keep track of stats without interruption of the game.

Over the years, I played many top-down shooters such as Blazing Lazers, legends Guardian and many others. Covering something lack of sky. It is fair to say that simply missing "it"? The fair game did not appear happy to play. And finally, it is all that really matters. Thank you for reading.

Review of game CRYSIS 2

The first Crysis won praise for injecting a bit of superheroes in the genus shooter, with the permission of speed - play, power-shield - and stealth-improved nano. He has also created a lot of flak for restricting its base player to PC players including platforms would not melt in the heat of its intensive graphics requirements. Crysis 2, developer Crytek developed a method of cram all its luscious visuals high definition on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, so the console players can finally wrap their controllers around what is one of the most innovative shooters in recent memory.

In a clever gesture to Crytek reset history for new players, Crysis 2 is the parameter on a tropical island on a Manhattan near future (and incredibly rendered). The city is ravaged by a foreign aggression and a virus that has citizens lined alleys and quarantines fortune, coughing up black blood. As the bearer of it have one-of-a-kind known as the nano, you are the only hope of saving the island.

This Nano is also the key to the success of Crysis 2. Nicknamed 2.0, its functions have been adapted for the use of the console: you can now beef in armor or go invisible mode mantle with a quick tap of a button on the shoulder. Activation or powers (or running) drains the energy of the combination and leaves you in vulnerable to attack, to dominate enemy forces requires a constant strategic balance between taking party capabilities of the prosecution and the search for coverage.

While the game allows to promote power over the other via a system upgrade (for example, you can silence your footsteps or reduce damage with deflection ball), I found myself adapting to the circumstances of the moment, with sailing on the side of groups of enemies and then switch to armor that I opened fire on them by behind. Crysis 2 actively encourages this style of game including a number of sections "tactical assessment" in each level. Whenever you reach one of these points, the game prompts you turn on your tactical visor to define the scope of the chipped points, sniper positions, weapons caches and other points of interest prior to loading in battle. These moments really open the potential or improvisation and the strategy in what is otherwise a linear experience.

In all, there is enough variation and personalization in two solo and multiplayer to keep you engaged for a long time after the release of the game. If you are a person with a PC or console gamer machine below end with nostalgia read criticism of the first Crysis, take the plunge with Crysis 2. It is the expectation.

Mass effect 2 DLC Review arrival: Shepard hit

Let's not beat around the bush here, the Reapers are coming and Mass Effect 3 come, they're going to hit the human race hard. With that said, let's take a quick moment to talk about Arrival, the latest and final installment to Mass Effect 2 DLC.

The Final Chapter

At the behest of good ol' Admiral Hackett (damn that sexy voice), Shepard embarks on a solo mission to save Dr. Kenson, an Alliance deep cover agent, from the of the Batarians homosexuelle. Upon Kenson's liberation from her captors, Shepard learns of the impending Reaper invasion and of the doctor's plans to ram a meteor into a mass relay to hinder the Reaper's progress.

Skeptical of Kenson's plans, Shepard accompanies the good doctor back to her project base, only to learn to his dismay that Kenson and her staff have all been indoctrinated by a Reaper artifact. Shepard, being the absolute bad ass that we all know him to be, battles against anything and everything Kenson and her team manages to throw in his path. The DLC culminates in the destruction of the Alpha relay and an ominous holographic confrontation between Shepard Harbinger himself.

The Falsely Paved Highway To Mass Effect 3

Before we get into the thick of anything else, let's have a bit of a rewind.

Back when Lair of the Shadow Broker was first released, Bioware mentioned that it would be the first piece of DLC that would serve to expand the Mass Effect universe in preparation for the epic conclusion of Shepard's story, Mass Effect 3.

Now, LotBS was awesome and is, hands down, my favourite Bioware DLC to date (across all franchises) despite a number of minor shortcomings. I don't know about you, but I was definitely expecting a good 3 to 4 more DLCs. However, with the onset of Arrival being the final chapter/DLC for Mass Effect 2, it kind of begs the question as to whether Bioware might have the truth a little clay on their plans to bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3.

Going Solo doesn't Impress Me

Arrival attempts to set itself apart from its ME2 DLC compatriots by featuring Shepard as a lone combatant. Essentially, due to the sensitive nature of this assignment, Hackett insists that Shepard works alone. In truth, it isn't all too big a deal, considering how Shepard seemingly excels at any given class, at given time (we received a dose of solo-Shep during the final leg of the Project Overlord DLC).

The CSD itself won't take players more than an hour to complete, which in itself is pretty disappointing. Moreover, Arrival doesn't exactly break any new ground whatsoever. It doesn't boast anything new in the manner of gameplay, interaction, situational challenge, enemy variation or mob distribution. Based on the previews I read prior to playing Arrival, it seemed to me that the whole Very simply put, Arrival struck as me a short story that needed to be told, cheaply packaged into a sorry excuse for 'glad game'.

In truth, the entire CSD felt like one of them OPTIONAL N7 Assignments that players pick up as they go probe-dropping around the galaxy. Was it really worth having such mission packaged and priced as a DLC? I don't think so.

Arrival's positive, For What They're Worth

Materialistically, there's nothing inherently new about Arrival. Shepard receives a mission, Shepard punches it in the face, Shepard flies away victorious (sort of). However, I will credit Arrival for being able to invoke a mood that speaks of claustrophobia, urgency and in some cases, panic, notions that so aptly characterize the impending arrival of the Reapers.

In terms of level design, a couple of things do come to mind. I've noticed that Arrival features content that takes place in either very closed quarters or seemingly open areas that are dimly bed and least with props. Simply put, there is a maze-like quality to Arrival's very level designs, which, as mentioned, effectively invokes a sense of claustrophobia.

Take that sense of claustrophobia and couple it with the very subtle time limit (i.e., finish the job before the asteroid crashes into the relay) that Arrival imposed on its players nearing the end of the DLC's content and you've got a sure-fire formula for a quick and cheap dose of adrenaline (effect might vary). If you make it, Shepard gets to live and fight another day. If you somehow can't get past the damnably lenient time limit (or if you simply choose to fail for the heck of it), you get treated to a little video depicting the Reaper's unbridled wrath.

Now, while I wasn't so much affect by the time limit per is (seriously, the game gives you MORE THAN ENOUGH time to complete final strings of encounters), I will say this, there were a couple of times during the DLC's climax, where I thought, Oh shit, Shepard might just die again, notably during that bit where Kenson lets loose that hand grenade. I attribute this to the overall ambience that the level and content design manages to induce. The synergy is far from perfect, but it gets a pretty strong message across.

On a slightly comedic note, if ever anyone doubted how much of a badass Shepard really is, well, Arrival is the DLC them sorry non-believers. I couldn't help but chuckle at the manner of which Kenson repeatedly browbeats her lackeys into confronting Shepard, only to have them cower in fear over the PA system, citing Shepard's overwhelming prowess and resilience. That definitely served as a wee bit of an ego boost.

Detachment

One thing that bothers me most about Arrival is the sheer detachment it portrays from the rest of the game, storyline and characters. Regardless of when players choose to complete the DLC, we need to take into account the magnitude of Shepard's actions. Effectively, Shepard had a hand in destroying a mass relay and an entire system, along with a good 300,000 or so Batarians. You'd think that someone, ANYONE at all would have something about it.

From where I'm standing, it all seems to point towards one thing, cutting production costs. Pity.

Arrival's Come And Gone

I'm not going to lie, Arrival was pretty damned disappointing.

To be fair, it boasts a decent amount of action for its overall length (though not exactly epic on any scale), has good ambience, is lightly peppered with amusing dialogue and for what it's worth, it's a moderately enjoyable and straightforward 'dungeon-crawl' backed by a decent enough story.

However, there's really isn't much to be had in the way of interaction or choice which, for modern RPG content, creates a pretty stale experience altogether. As I've mentioned earlier as well, the CSD doesn't feel very special for all the hype it received and its billing as ME2's final chapter, passing off as little more than a quick solo mission. Again, to reiterate another point here, Arrival simply struck as me a short piece of Mass Effect lore convienently packaged into a buyable DLC.

I'm sure many gamers and even fans of Mass Effect will agree that Bioware doesn't exactly have that successful a track record with DLCs. To date, across all of Bioware's franchises, I'd have to say that the only DLC worth its weight in money and quality thus far has to be Lair of the Shadow Broker. In other words, Arrival definitely tanked, for me at least.

The Reapers Are Still Coming

Come holiday season 2011, the Reapers will hit Earth with everything a massive fleet of sentient dreadnought class battleships can muster (it'll hurt). Mass Effect 3 stands as one of my most highly anticipated games for 2011. However, given Bioware's recent seemingly weak showing with both Dragon Age 2 and the Arrival DLC, I'm starting to feel a wee bit queasy for what is to come.
