Weekly video game Round-Up

We're a few days until Christmas and of course we will give you a look at the latest released game you can buy yourself or ask Dear Santa this year. This week will give you a look inside world of Goo, Star Wars: The Old Republic update and you give a line-up on the games that you can place on your Christmas list to make sure that you don't be bored during this special period.

Review

World of Goo

World of Goo's funniest and most interesting game I've played who revolve around Goo ever! This is a funny puzzle game where you guide Goo into the sewage system. But there are different types of Goo to help you do so, for example, Black Goo will be your base Goo connect with each other for the creation of the towers and bridges, Goo Green is re-connectable in contrast to the black Goo, red explodes Goo and white Goo will create a connection that looks a little like snot! 2D boy certainly did a good job in the creation of a game is not only really fun to play, but players are also able to get this game for a mere 10 bucks!

Not only is World of Goo a simple puzzle game with a hell of lot funny sounds and incredible levels that will make you crack your brain, it includes also a small line of history where (in resolving many levels) help it the world become cleaner for all you all the Goo where it belongs.

World of Goo is a guarantee for pleasure and is approximately 4 hours of game time, but with all the achievements in each level you'll be playing again and again and again.

The game is available on PC, Wii and Ipad

Upcoming

Star Wars: The Old Republic

And finally, the timing will be there (somewhere in 2011) with the long awaited Star Wars: the old Republic update. This update includes many great things to improve the experience of gamplay for example:

-There will be two different classes of Jedi whose choice. This is the "Knight" which focuses on the fight with the lightsaber, or the "consular who chooses to fight using Force."

The game also introduces a player controlled by computer which you can command autour to do a lot of things that you do not want to do for example: craft (in this case, using the skills of artifice or biochem), gathering of Arts and crafts materials (in this case, the bioanalysis and slices of) and mission of lower-level tasks.

-In addition to having a 'slave', Bioware companion also introduces a PVP, area where the characters of the Republic are able to fight the characters of the Empire on the planet of Alderaan. There PVP, there are defending, team seeking to defend the turrets of destruction and the attacking team seeking to destroy their Galactic war ship is destroyed by the turrets.

Although PVP areas are not available for players who had to buy the game, over time (where a higher level of experience is reached), they provide a touch sweet and exciting original screenplay of the game.

After having played some evil character in the game already, I thought it was difficult to excited by Jedi, characters because they are not equipped with jetpacks, nor capable of draw lightning... However, for the Gentiles or there real players on the team, these new classes of Jedi will prove to be useful during quests and certainly all by fighting together. The final game promises much: deep scenario, companions, PVP and much more than many Star Wars fans have been dying to see, if you have to wait a little longer for the game will be somewhere in 2011.

Weekly video game Round-Up

At the end of the year, that we would like to give you a look back on what great games released in 2010, so Round-Up this week will be presented unusually with top games 8 staff who made their breakthrough in this year. Then sit down and enjoy Round-Up of this week!

1 Call of Duty Black Ops

This first person shooter has proved as it has done more than 1 billion already! (This is a record that only the movie "Avatar" had been able to achieve in so little time). Call of Duty proves once again, and I'll probably play this game until next year.

2 Scope of halo

Bungie was another in the trilogy of the Halo games, this game doesn't feel only grand to play, but also improved many graphical details of the game. For all Halo fans out there, it's some "buy this!" The game however makes the closure of the Halo series, but players will appreciate the game for years and years.

3 Starcraft II

Long after the first Starcraft, this year a new a fate that had players drool while playing. Not only did this game "mutate" graphic aspects, but also featured a character in the first game. This is an awesome strategy game that you will pass many gametime on before, not to mention online battles that count for a lot of sleepless nights.

4 Assassins Creed: brotherhood

Ubisoft has been a great success, introducing the second game of Assassins Creed where, this time play you as "ezio" who seeks to avenge his father and brother his murderers. The game demonstrates the astonishing beauty of the Italy century earlier and with a little help of Leonardo da Vinci and tips acrobatical, you expect your goal.

5 World of Warcraft: Catalysm

WoW 5 years and yet danger seems irresistible. This extension of WoW, you face the dangers of yet evil known as «deathwing the Destroyer. " This expansion pack comes with several new quests, skills and explore places that have millions of WoW fans screaming to have.

6 Red Dead Redemption

Put players in the role of John Marston, early outlaw forced to track down the murderer expartner contradicts RDR expectations every time. Marston may seem common persona of western spaghetti, but it quickly shows a depth of personality that may correspond to some game figures. It might be a fighter, hero, sometimes bad and a family guy and the world, it occupies is just as deep and fully developed. Whenever include you online game and developments like the Awesome "Nightmare undead", in addition to multiplayer, DAS can be a game that belongs in every collection and will be enjoyed for many years to come.

7 God of war 3

Another exciting episode of the famous series of God of war was released earlier this year where the history of God continues. Updated with the new and refined graphics, tons of new monsters and many new puzzles to solve, God of war 3 is an excellent example of one of the best games of 2010.

8 Dead Rising 2

Zombies continue to be popular forage in the play area. "dead rising 2" will be much like the first episode of the series. Fight against wave after wave of zombies with tools that you can get your hands on. This time, these tools will include slot machines and propane tanks, but don't be surprised if the mower (a tool for killing popular zombie of the original game) reappears.

It has been some time since the first LittleBigPlanet is released and this result will be well worth the wait. What appears to be the same across new at the beginning of the game revolves around quickly by introducing a real plot in the game, where you have to take against evil super Negativatron is hauling up everything in the universe. As you form an alliance with Sackboy and Larry DaVinci), seek you to Negativatron, you will be able to note that LittleBigPlanet 2 is more than a fresh HD upgrade and that it is actually stacked with new features in the game.

The Controlinator is a helmet that you wear during game play which is able to pull off preset objects to help you during the game. You are also able to draw on your own creations in the levels that you can now create your own and share online. The possibilities are almost unlimited and the game has tons of new things to talk about. Unfortunately, you have to experience for yourself because I am down time.

All I can say is that the 2 LittleBigPlanet sounded in your mind when it comes to visuals; the incredibly detailed worlds that you play give you a different feeling every time. With new costumes, animations and countless options in the game, LittleBigPlanet 2 worth surely waiting.

Infinite blade

In this review, we speak of a game in which is found on a PC, Xbox, the PlayStation or a Nintendo.

When the iPhone 4 and iPad are released, a new world open to persons who were then able to play small and funny games on the latest technology. Development of Chair made use of this new technology in creating a game (using the Unreal 3 engine) that can easily be placed among the "best" available for devices iOS4 games. Infinite blade tells you about an attack on the castle of King God who fails horribly and blade of so-called infinite draining all the essence of the life of the protagonist. twenty years later you return to take revenge on the past and fight your way back in the castle to confront the King of God once again. This game seems not only exceptionally good, but it is also an achievement in Visual effects in game, which can often only be seen on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Of course, Visual quality does mean nothing when the game is terrible, therefore President development thought that through widely and indeed the sensation of gambling such as you battle system meet real swordfight. While using your finger scans to sink your enemies, you will be able to find only 3 buttons at the bottom of your screen. They are both circumventing the left or right and that block... Although the face, you shouldn't really since most people only hack and how all this sink. However, if you play through the game several times it becomes more difficult. To the diaphragm and blocking will help you continue your quest for later.

All and all, Infinity blade is a great achievement for games on iOS4, devices given Visual graphics and game which is available only for touch screens. I hope that it set the tone for the biggest games to come, but for the moment, this game is far more "just a good game."

Infinite blade will be published on 9 December and is available on all iOS4 with touch-screen devices.

It has been a while since the first LittleBigPlanet came out and this sequel will be well worth the wait. What seems to be the same thing all over again in the beginning of the game, turns around quickly by introducing an actual storyline to the game, where you have to take it up against super evil Negativatron who is hauling up everything in the universe. As you form an alliance (with Sackboy and Larry Davinci ), you seek out Negativatron, you will come to notice that LittleBigPlanet 2 is more than just a fresh HD upgrade and is actually stacked with new in-game features.

You're also able to shoot out your own creations in levels that you can now create by yourself, and share online. The possibilities are almost endless and the game has tons of new things to talk about. Unfortunately you are going to have to experience those for yourself because I've run out of time.

All I can say is that LittleBigPlanet 2 will blow your mind when it comes to visuals; the incredibly detailed worlds you play in give you a different feeling every time. That along with the new costumes, animations and countless in-game options, LittleBigPlanet 2 is definitely worth the wait.

Infinity Blade

In this review we're going to talk about a game which can't be found on a PC, Xbox, PlayStation or even a Nintendo.

When the iPhone 4 and iPad came out, a new world opened for people who were then able to play small and funny games on the newest technology. Chair Development has made use of this new technology by creating a game, (using the Unreal 3 Engine) which could easily be placed among "the best" available games for iOS4 devices. Infinity Blade tells you the story about an assault on the castle of the God King which fails terribly and the so-called infinity blade draining all the life essence out of the main character. 20 years later you return to take revenge on the past and fight your way back into the castle to face the God King yet again. This game does not only look exceptionally good, but it's also an achievement in in-game visual effects, which often can only be seen on consoles like PlayStation and Xbox. Off course, visual quality means nothing when game-play is terrible, therefore Chair development has thought that through extensively and made the fighting system of the game feel like you are having an actual swordfight. While using your finger swipes to slash at your enemies, you are able to find only 3 buttons at the bottom of your screen. These are to both dodge left or right and block which..... Well face it, you don't really need since most people just hack and slash their way out of everything. However, if you play through the game multiple times it will become harder. So making use of dodging and blocking will prove useful as you continue your quest later on.

All and all, Infinity Blade is a great achievement for games on iOS4 devices, considering visual graphics and game-play which is ONLY available for touch screens. Hopefully it will set the tone for more great games to come, but for now this game is well over "just a good game."

Infinity Blade will be released on the 9th of December and is available on all iOS4 Devices with touch screen.
