LittleBigPlanet 2 Review

LittleBigPlanet 2 is a video game of puzzle game due for release on 18 January exclusively on PlayStation 3 platforms (United Kingdom and in Ireland can expect to get their hands on the game of 21 January). Video game developed by Media Molecule and centres around users, being able to create their own mini games and not just the levels only.

The game is the sequel to the original title LittleBigPlanet released in 2008 and is backward compatible so that your hard work LBP is not lost. Thus LittleBigPlanet2 retains most of the 3 million created by LBP community levels.

You are also able to download content you have already purchased for your LBP import scholarships, you have earned playing LBP with its system of pine or trophies.

LittleBigPlanet 2 centres through inter-dimensional vacuum which suddenly appears on LittleBigPlanet and begins to suck the inhabitants. The alliance then comes to the rescue of Sackboy and friends benefit him and craftworld destruction of "La Negativitron".

In terms of its design interface Media Molecule took the effort to make the tools more clean, consistent and user-friendly interfaces. This will certainly help soften the blow of making your transition from LBP (LittleBigPlanet) to LBP2. Rather than give you a large number of tools, LittleBigPlanet 2 is also on the giving you a few tools that can be used in a variety of ways.

So what are the new creative tools, you can expect to get their hands on in LBP2?

One of these new tools (perhaps the most important in my opinion) is the "controllinator" formerly headquarters Direct control. The tool allows developers to map the actions of any object to a controller button in their game. You can also use the controllinator to program your own controls and applied to your Sackboy character.

Another great improvement is the ability for players to create characters called Sackbots whose behavior and appearance can be customized by level designer.

A music sequencer has been added to LiitleBigPlanet 2. This will allow you to choose an instrument, composing a track and add it to your own levels designed. Other tools that make an appearance in LittleBigPlanet 2 are: Grabinators (use by Sackboy capture, transport and throwing objects), a Creatinator (which can be programmed to fire any object) and a grappling hook.

Level designers are required to be thrilled with the inclusion of these new tools and the ability of tools to take you far beyond of the limits of LBP. If you liked LittleBigPlanet, you'll love LittleBigPlanet 2 more. It's time to get cracking and make your dreams reality. This video game was evaluated by PEGI and 7.
