Game review: Call of Duty Black Ops

Over the past few years was a new entry in Call of Duty series each year. Each expansion more than the last. Call of duty Black Ops is this years entry and it responds with certainty the reputation that the Call of Duty series is renowned for. Everything what you like in previous games is all included more new additions that really add to the excitement.

The single player campaign is yet hard action hitting that it has always been, but the scenario is more on a kind of thriller. The story follows the cold war and the events that take place during the 1960s. You travel in places like Cuba, the Russia and the Viet Nam. The story is very different in the fact that you play a series of flashbacks while he was interrogated by an unknown voice. With each flashback, you receive another part of the puzzle of history leading to the exciting ending.

The campaign is about six to seven hours, but the multiplayer will have returning you again and again. The competitive multiplayer has many new additions and all have their place in Black Ops. Adding more grand is the currency system used. As you level up and gain experience, you also earn points for cod. These points are used for the purchase of new weapons, attachments, canon camos, painting of face, emblems of the clan, and playercards. The emblems of the clan and playercards are equivalent to the emblems and the titles found in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Multiplayer games can be found well known in Black Ops under the player matches and private correspondence. There is also another type of game called Wager games where players can bet their own money and play certain types of outrageous games. Match Betting games are: one in the Chamber, sticks and stones, sniper and gun game. In the House is composed of players with only a pistol with a ball and three lives. Players can receive an additional ball to achieve a kill. Sticks and stones is a game type where are used only the crossbow, tomahawk and ballistic knife. In Sharpshooter each player receives the same random weapons every 45 seconds and receives advantages to be gained killstreaks. The final game is Gun game where players begin with a gun and gradually acquire more powerful weapons on each kill. The first person to kill and to all 20 weapons will win.

Zombie mode also makes a return in Black Ops. The first map of zombie continues the storyline of the world at war zombie mode. There is also a second card at the end of the single player campaign where many well known characters are fighting position to survive.

Call of Duty every year brings something new and exciting in the table. Black Ops is the price this year. Even if it does not really add any new mechanics, the nucleus of Call of Duty is always there, it adds a new layer of enthusiasm for the single-player, multiplayer and co-op. The expansive and intriguing campaign makes the best scenario of Call of Duty series. Black Ops is more FPS this year, the giving some of the best experiences of veterans and new players.
