Eternal Night: Kingdom of souls is an epic adventure game set in a fiction of the ancient Egypt. At the beginning of the game, the Earth has been drowning in darkness for seven days and the Sun is not found. Worried, the Pharaoh asked a volunteer travel the land of the dead and obtain a hearing with the gods. Hopefully, they would be able to find what's happening and bring the Sun in the mortal world. You are only voluntary, and the game Chronicles your adventures in this mystical Kingdom.

The game is an adventure game of puzzle of objects hidden with an Egyptian theme. You will meet the Egyptian gods such as Hathor, Anubis and Khnum and will explore wonderful magical worlds ranging from a ruin of volcanic cave at the workshop where Khnum transforms clay human babies. You will also encounter various other characters as souls lost who trade their precious secret of shiny trinkets.

The first thing that will take you is how beautiful art. The style is similar to cel animation and is full of rich and vibrant colours that bring each supernatural Kingdom to life. Details and how to adapt to each domain art changes are breathtaking. However, this beauty comes at a price: the art of high quality means that the time between loading scenes can be a bit slow depending on the power of your system is.

Regards the gameplay, Eternal Night is like the format of standard adventure hidden object where you discover the world moving from scene to scene. You will be facing obstacles you must overcome by solving puzzles and hidden object scenes. You will also resume objects on how you can use to solve these puzzles.

However, Eternal Night is different because of his style and the level of difficulty. Quests or objectives in the game are organized into major objective storyline divided into small hidden objectives you need to resolve in chronological order. For example, the overall objective of the creation of a magic flute will include measures such as clay, obtaining casting it in a flute, then find a potion to transform it into stone. But you don't know what these measures are until you get your moment "aha!" and understand. In addition, the button index do you say what then click. It will give you just an image that evokes as to what the next hidden step involves.

Puzzles and hidden object scenes are also generally a higher difficulty level (although some puzzles can be skipped if you have problems with them). The hidden object scenes are not your gaming standard with a list of items, laundry that you find. Instead of this, one of the hidden object games will give you a complete scene of objects and a painting of Egyptian papyrus above. Painting will miss a few articles, and you need to find these articles in the hidden object scene and place them in the right place in painting. Another type of hidden object scene has for her 3D printing. It includes elements displayed on the surface of a pot, and you need to rotate the mud to find them all.

Puzzles are also difficult and feature sets that are unique and have an Egyptian feel their. An example is the maze puzzle where you spend your petite figure Egyptian of a starting tile a tile of purpose. However, there are obstacles on the way, like the lion, the ocean and fire tiles. You will need to visit a tile sword to defeat a lion tile and a boat tile that allows you to cross an ocean tile etc. To make matters more interesting, you may not return in this puzzle, as each tile can only be visited once. Lots of fun!

Eternal Night is certainly more difficult than the standard hidden object game, but this may be an advantage for the players wishing to exercise their brains a little more. Beautiful art and the epic usability to deal with ancient Egyptian gods are plus another. You will enjoy Eternal Night: Kingdom of souls if you like adventure games with unique and mind-boggling puzzles as Drawn: dark flight.
